As readers will know from the Preface of "The Really Good News About God" my interest in eschatology has a long, long history.
Even so, I rarely strayed into "end times" topics on my published BLOG so that I wouldn't distract readers from its main focus - discussing God's unconditional love and extravagant grace as revealed through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago which will result in the eventual reconciliation of all in heaven and on earth to God.
However, questions like ..."what happens next?" and ..."what happens after that?" continually invade my thinking space even while preparing these blog posts on God's plan to eventually be reconciled with all of His creation (and my general reading of the Bible).
Although God's eventual reconciliation plan has been my focus for 20 years or so, I have decided to share my thoughts on the more controversial topics of eschatology (commonly called End Times) and because, for all my hours of study in those areas, I am still not convinced of the correct answers to all those questions.
There have been thousands (probably millions) of books written on "end times" and many offering very different and conflicting views, so I appreciate that I may never arrive on a settled view, but I believe many of the differences would vanish with more open and respectful discussion here.
Please help me explore some of these positions.
Blessings, Barry
